One House Becomes Two

These new contemporary homes are situated on a corner plot which was previously occupied by a single dilapidated dwelling. These new eco-builds are a timber frame construction with part pre-fabrication off site. This meant that the building construction time was almost halved and the houses combine the benefits of advanced Swedish Technology and the traditional British Architectural style craftsmanship. The design for both houses were customised for each family creating spacious living areas as well as meeting the requirements for the planning department on such an open corner plat. The previously dated building and has been reinvigorated with a contemporary aesthetic.
