Three Glazed Peaks
RESIDENTIAL DESIGN
Our first meeting with the client explained how they had fallen out of love with the house and the curb-appeal which the house once had had slowly faded away. The low skilling ceiling line in their bedroom had becoming an annoying feature and they were considering moving house. After being appointed we decided that by extending the main bedroom and lounge (the left hand side) of the dwelling with a two story extension, vast amounts of space were created internally and this also added a beautiful glazed feature to the buildings front façade. The Full height glazing elements were copied across 3 gables, becoming a key feature of the building’s aesthetics and also flooding the front façade with natural daylight. The timber cladding reinvigorated the life back into the building, giving it a new, contemporary feel.
