All Walls Must Go

The clients bought the property with the intention of turning the large Chalet Bungalow with small rooms into a Chalet Bungalow with openplan spaces and giving the whole property a face-lift internally and lifting the curb appeal. By removing several walls and adding 5 metre wide bi-folds the ground floor main living Kitchen/ Diner space was formed. The original 4 medium sized rooms were transformed into 1 grand space. The overall external appearance of the building was altered with:

• New roof lights
• Horizontal Timber cladding
• Oak porch
• New windows and doors throughout
• New Velux balconies

The overall change to the house was dramatic and has helped create very modern living spaces to enjoy.
