Swivel House

This extensive project, situated in Alverstoke, Southern England, has a wide range of design features. The brief consisted of a single and double storey extension to include; a new kitchen dining space, office, informal lounge area, master bedroom with associated en suite and walk in wardrobe, as well as a general upgrade to the exterior aesthetics.

As soon as you enter the rear space, one feature in particular catches your eye… a TV on a central swivel that serves both the kitchen and the lounge area tucked around the corner. The extensions to the rear are contemporary in the appearance with large apex glazing elements and a crisp render finish.

The master bedroom sits in the new apex extension on the first floor. The vaulted ceilings create a grand feeling when entering into the space and flood the bedroom with natural light through the roof lights.
